Create rich, visually-appealing presentations with the Wijmo Scatter Chart widget (wijscatterchart). This chart type allows the user to show two value axes, showing one set of numerical data along the x-axis and another along the y-axis. The Scatter Chart combines these values into single data points and displays them in uneven intervals, or clusters.
What makes these charts superior is that they’re powered by Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). SVG is perfect for creating rich and interactive visualizations in HTML5. Some benefits of charting with SVG include true client-side charting, DOM-friendly charts, hardware accelerated graphics, interactive animations and tooltips, and streaming visualizations. Plus, the charts require no additional plug-ins.
Display multiple series on the scatter chart. This is useful when showing two related series of data.
You can change the shape of the data point for each series. Rather than displaying circular points for a series, you can show triangles, inverted triangles, boxes, diamonds, or crosses.
All Wijmo charts are optimized for streaming live data. The charts will animate as the data changes and show transitions to visualize the data in the data set.
Multiple value type of axis
X axis supports string/numeric/datetime type and Y axis supports numeric/datetime type. Wijmo Scatter Chart is very intelligent about numeric and time values. It determines the interval value of each unit and where to place the ticks automatically.
Associate tooltips and links with chart elements, so the chart responds to mouse events. This is done using an HTML image map, which is handled on the client.
Add special effects to your bar chart. Enable transition settings, where on page load the chart may transition as a bounce, elastic, and so on.
