Give your end-users a better UX with context-sensitive tooltips. Load and display HTML content in your Web apps with the Wijmo Tooltip widget (wijtooltip). You also have complete control over the look of the tooltip.
Pure CSS callout
Create tooltips with nested <div> elements; multiple fonts and text colors; preformatted text; paragraph alignment; formatted and nested tables; nested, bullet and numbered lists; images; plain text; and content formatted from cascading style sheets.
Select from several trigger options to set the event that will open the tooltip (hover, click, right-click, focus, or custom).
Create a modal tooltip by setting the modal option to true. With the Modal checkbox checked, hover over “Hover on the element”. The tooltip appears, but the rest of the page cannot be accessed until the tooltip is closed.
Use the position option to change where the tooltip appears.
AJAX callback for content
Keep page sizes small and manageable using the OnAjaxUpdate event. This triggers an AJAX call to the server when the end-user hovers over a tooltip element on the client. The event handler receives the element’s ID, allowing the rich data of the Wijmo Tooltip to be dynamically loaded.
